Assyria TV

the work

Assyria TV needed to deliver their uploaded and live content onto mobile devices on Android and iOS platform. Having notifications for program and important news and live stream was of also of great importance so the users would not miss anything. Another of the features required was to allow the users to search for the uploaded videos from inside the application.

The challenge

The solution needed to deliver Assyria TV content seamlessly - regardless of the screen users desire to experience content on. This was further complicated by the way videos were saved in the legacy system used by the client. This has made us construct a specialized parser to restructure the served content and keep mobile applications up to date with the original web site. A notification controller was also developed so that the non technical people would be able to easily send notifications to the users. Search function was developed to allow the users to easily find the videos they need and get the results with almost no waiting time.

the process

Our goal was to come up with a user experience focused on speed and ease of navigation, but also to have an elegant and compelling end product. Our UX designers worked really hard at identifying typical use cases for the application and helping users find their favorite shows quickly.
