To present the Matta shop to the highest standard we wanted to allow the users to be able to really see the carpet they were looking for. This required utilizing augmented reality (AR) technology that would allow the user to place the carpet on the flow and see how it would look when it arrives from the shop.
The challenge
Augmented reality is an amazing technology but also a young technology so we wanted to make sure that the experience is stable and good for the user. Challenge was to make it work on as much devices as possible as AR imposes certain hardware limitations.

Development involved a lot of testing and benchmarking in order to evaluate the quality and the performance of the developed app.
As a result, a vintage carpet or patchwork rug from Matta is not only a unique way to express your creativity but also an original piece of high quality, unparalleled in shape and design.
